Happy Halloween! And if your eyes are so baggy trick-or-treaters think you’re wearing an old-lady costume, it’s time to deflate your eyes.
Eating overly salty foods can cause your eyes to become puffy and swollen. On the other hand, applying salt to the outside of your eyes can relieve puffiness, no matter what caused the problem. So mix ½ teaspoon of salt in 1 quart of warm water, and dip two cotton pads in the solution. Then lie down, put a pad over each closed eyelid, and relax for 10 to 20 minutes. Before you can say “BOO!”—poof go the puffs!
