Build Dem Bones by Saying "Cheese"!

Cheese is one of the best sources of bone-building calcium around. Plus, it’s packed with protein to strengthen your muscles and other joint-supporting tissues. Here’s a tummy-tempting Gouda Mac recipe that’ll add a little cheese to your daily menu and keep your body strong:

Cook 8-ounces of elbow macaroni according to package directions. After draining, return it to the warm pan. Cover it with a lid, and set it aside. Measure out 1 cup of fat-free evaporated milk. In a separate dish, stir 1 tablespoon of flour into 2 tablespoons of the milk until the flour dissolves. Pour the rest of the milk into a nonstick saucepan and use a wire whisk to add the flour mixture. Cook, stirring, over medium heat until the mixture becomes very warm. Add 4 ounces of shredded Gouda cheese, and stir until it’s melted. Cook until the sauce is thick and hot, but not boiling. Add the macaroni and stir until well blended. (Yield: 4 servings.)
