Cream The Pain of Arthritis
If the weather has caused your arthritis to flare up, try one of these effective, time-tested, doctor-recommended treatments:
- Put an ice pack on the swollen, sore joint for about 20 minutes at a time. Repeat the treatment once an hour and continue for as long as it seems to help.
- For achy joints that aren’t swollen, heat works better than cold. Soak a small towel in hot water, wring it out, and drape it over your painful joint. When the towel cools, soak it again and reapply it.
- Spice up your menu with turmeric, an aromatic herb that is a great inflammation fighter. Add it to rice, stews, and meat dishes, or take turmeric capsules, which are available at health food stores.
- Use a topical cream that contains oil of wintergreen, menthol, or lidocaine, or a combination of all three. Rubbing it into your sore joints is one of the quickest – and safest – ways to soothe joint pain.
Baker’s Best Arthritis Pain Relief Cream contains all three of the most effective, doctor-recommended ingredients, plus inflammation-relieving aloe vera, deep-penetrating emu oil, soothing MSM, and more!
