Seasonal Allergies
Before the pollen count goes up in the spring and seasonal allergies set in, give
yourself a daily dose of locally grown honey. What you’ll be doing is ingesting
tiny parts of the plants that normally trigger your sniffling, sneezing, and runny
eyes. By building up your immune system with just a teaspoon of honey a day, you’ll
develop a resistance and lessen the severity of your symptoms once the season is
in full bloom. (Caution: Never give raw honey to children under age 1.)
