Can-Do Smoothie
Whip up this super sipper when you’re feeling too hot and lazy to lift a fork. Then
sit back in a lawn chair and sip a whole day’s worth of vitamins A and C right through
a straw!
Combine ½ cup of cold fat-free evaporated milk, 3 cups of cold cantaloupe cubes,
¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a dash of ground cinnamon in a blender. Blend
the mixture until it’s smooth, pour it into a large glass, and enjoy.
Not a fan of cantaloupe? Here’s another little cocktail that’ll meet your entire
day’s need for vitamin A, and most of your C, too.
In a blender, combine 1 cup of ruby red grapefruit juice blend and 1/8 teaspoon
of ginger. Begin to blend on high, then remove the feeder cap, and drop in 1 cup
of baby carrots one by one until all the carrots are pureed. Add 1 cup of ice cubes
one at a time and blend until finely crushed. Divide the neon-bright smoothie between
two glasses, and share the frosty goodness with a friend.
